KOSOVO: Press Council of Kosovo launches EU Award for Investigative Journalism
On 10th of March 2016, Press Council of Kosovo launched the EU Award for Investigative Journalism. The Award aims at promoting achievements of investigative journalists.
Investigative stories published between 1 January and 31 December 2015, reporting on societal issues related to abuse of power and fundamental rights, corruption and organized crime in Kosovo that otherwise would not have been brought to the public attention can be nominated for the award.
This year’s contest presents a new sub-category for the best story by young journalist. Young investigative journalists also qualify for the general award.
The award fund in 2016 (for achievements in 2015) is 10,000 Euro.
